About the Journal

Pakistan Journal of Ophthalmology is an open access, double blind, peer review, quarterly published journal. It allows for immediate free access to the scholarly work in all the branches of Ophthalmology and its allied Sciences, permitting any user to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of articles, crawl them for indexing, pass them as data to software, or use them for any other lawful purpose.

PJO follows the COPE (https://publicationethics.org) and the ICMJE’s (http://www.icmje.org) best practice guidelines for publishing of scholarly manuscripts. It is expected of authors, reviewers and editors that they follow the best-practice guidelines on ethical behaviour contained therein.

Aim :

To set high publishing standards in conveying the reader the latest research in Ophthalmology

Scope:

The journal will cover clinical and scientific studies related to health, ethical and social issues in field of ophthalmology and vision science. Preference will be given to topics of clinical interest.

The Pakistan Journal of Ophthalmology (PJO) is open access  peer-reviewed journal recognized by Pakistan Medical Commission, Higher Education Commission and College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan.
